Mission
Sustaining all existing WMO programs to be dedicated to continuous improvement of member state services, for supporting global prosperity and resiliency, such as:

Continuously strengthening the Global Basic Observing Network (GBON), by supporting the development of capacity of human resources and infrastructures at the Member States for qualified earth system observation, in order to improve the quality and accessability of data and information for weather, climate, water, and other environmental services, which are authoritative delivered (timely, reliable, and accurate), accessible, user-oriented and fit-for-purpose

Continuously strengthening and/ or accelerating the development of the Early Warning for All

Continuously facilitating the partnership and collaboration for resources mobilization, to support infrastructure and capacity development of the Member States such as by magnifying the impact of SOFF (Systematic Observations Financing Facility) Program

Continuously encouraging the development of appropriate technology by addressing the local/ indigenous knowledges, technology, and/ or wisdom to support the “early warning and early action” in Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
